Before you reach out

I'm not actively looking for a new role — I'm happy where I am. I don't respond to generic recruiting messages. Unless you're bringing something genuinely exceptional in terms of compensation, flexibility, and impact — namely in the accessibility space — please don't pitch me a job. If you're here for something else, keep reading.

What I can help with

  • Speaking — conference talks, panels, and webinars on accessibility, assistive technology, Braille, open source, functional programming, or software engineering.
  • Accessibility advisory — reviewing products, workflows, or teams for accessibility. I'm both a daily assistive technology user and a working software engineer, so I understand the constraints on both sides. I can help developers and product teams ship accessible software with practical, implementable advice. If all you need is a WCAG audit, there are people better suited for that.
  • Technical writing — articles on accessibility, screen readers, Braille and technology, or software engineering topics.
  • Open source collaboration — particularly around assistive technology and accessibility tooling.
